The reinforcement calculation method of plates within XFEM4U is based on the 3-layer model.
The plate is divided into 3 layers based on nxx,nyy,nxy,mxx,myy,mxy,vx and vy. The top and bottom layer are used for the bending moment forces and the middle layer for normal forces.
